nice jeep 2000 vert. Unlimiteds are awesome, even more so with 37+ tires to defeat the sucky breakover angles. My rubi has a set of 33 Falkens for now while my wife's pregnant, and I'll probably keep them for daily driver duty and get a new set of 37s for offroading in november for my birthday.
I'll jump on too! '08 Sahara I picked up a couple of weeks ago in Longview. Hardtop, still discovering all the mods. No fatty knobs but big tires and I enjoy not having the highway drone. My 13 year old thinks it's his in 3 more years...we'll see if he makes it!
really? in my 12 plus years of wheeling i never heard a tire referred to as a fatty knob. LOL. (And i can't believe Interco still makes the thornturds, that rubber would be much better utilized on more 17" sizes for the tires that are actually useable offroad)

Which is why I said I couldnt tell if you were trolling or not. And nobody likes an elitist offroading prick. He described them as fatty knobs.....it made since and gave the perfect mental image of serious mud tires. Ive been into the offroad scene since my dad pulled up in his 85 jeep renegade....in 85. I was "offroading" in a hummer in the marines 12 years ago but we just called it "going to work."But I don't act like an elitist frat boy.
and I agree with the statement about thornbirds........but they still make them because people still buy them.
May God give us strength and courage in the time of our darkest hours.

Amen, 21 years ago for me in the ARMY trying like heck to see what my 2-door HMMWV could do on the sand dunes of Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi. Couldn't get that thing stuck, in fact had to help a M113 get out of the mud after a sudden sand/rain storm one time.
Best bed I had for 6 months. If you rest your right heel on the top of the high/low switch on the floor board and lean back on your stack of claymores topped off with your gas mask, the snooze monster took over!
BTW
Didn't mean to use "unproper" wheeling/off-roading terminology and cause offense.
Fat Knobby Tires
Knobby Tires
Mud Tires
Supper Swappers
Big Tires
All-Terrains
Regardless, I don't have them but I still enjoy the lift and the big street tires!
