I am going to blow the doors off that truck

That truck ended up running 7.0's at 101 or so. Never sprayed it out of the hole.

It's nothing special: 2006 5.3L, McGaughey's 2/4, LTZ wheels. That's it for now. I have a 6.0L for it, but I am not sure I want to invest the time or money to do the swap. I change vehicles frequently and I've been eyeing the '11+ mustangs.

I had a 5.3 in my truck and it had a small cam shorty headers stall and a 125 shot. It ran a 7.68.

Honestly from a roll, you can't tell. From a dig, night and day. They are both rated in the new trucks over 300 hp. The early model trucks just under and over 300.

If you've ever had the 6.2, you'd wonder why they even produced them. The later model Ly6's work great for the money, nice heads, low compression and pretty easy to come by.
