Why do you say that.  The one piece that you can see is kind of a pain since it is one piece all the way into the fender where it connects to the a "L" bend that connects to the intercooler.  It is kind of hard to get it into the fender, you have to rotate it and the push, rotate, push, ect.  Once it is in there it is "in there", I don't foresee any issues with blowing that pipe off!

Only got to work on it a few hours Friday, rest of the weekend I was busy with Christmas parties and weddings. Just really waiting on my converter and then a few odd's and ends, (need to install a breather tank, meth injection, get a belt on it, etc.)

I was just shocked it started right up, with all the shit I changed, cam, tons of re-wiring, 3 bar map, fast response iat, totally different exhaust (duh), converter, injectors, tune, etc. Then just to fire up like a minivan I was floored.Originally posted by Magnimike1 View PostMerry Christmas?

man, i dont even think i ever smile on first starts, right before i know i am about to do it my heart starts beating like crazy, just waiting for some catastrophic shit to go down! i spend the last 5 minutes going over each system to make sure i don't do something stupid like leave a ratchet on the crank pulley or something. i cranked on it for like 15 seconds till i saw like 30+ psi of oil pressure for a few seconds, put the fuse in for the fuel pump, primed it, and boom, it hit on like the first rotation.Originally posted by DON SVO View PostThat'll be one of those unslappably-removed smile moments!
