I'm digging it.
The body and paint look pretty decent. It's a damn shame the fiberglass didn't fair so well.
I love the hood the way it is!! It would complete a nice bare wall in the garage if you could find an extra hood to use.
That decal kit and color combo is kickass. I'm into the retro factory look.
By the way, I just installed the 340hp FRPP 306 Crate engine in my project. It's a good buy, plenty of go, there's audio clips in my thread if you're curious.

Funny, but I already thought about using the hood as garage art. I've found several hoods, and 2 or 3 stock scoops, so it may happen. The fiberglass is actually very flexible urethane, so it really must have taken a beating over the years. It' probably fixable, but I've found a fiberglass repro front air dam already, now if I could just locate that damn right rear flare!Originally posted by Dave View PostI'm digging it.

Cooling system refurb complete
Replaced everything that has to do with the cooling system over the past week. Even had Al's tank and rod the stock radiator. The weather was nice when I got done, so I took the t-tops out and cruised around the neighborhood for a little while. Definitely not the stock 139 hp 302 in there anymore. Guessing a later model roller motor, find out for sure when the teardown begins. Here's little video of her first start up in nearly 3 years -
