Any plans on upgrading what I'm sure is a poor brake setup, aside from the Hydroboost?

Yeah, the front setup consists of 2" drop spindles, 12" drilled/slotted rotors, Wilwood dual piston calipers, stainless brake hoses, and the hydroboost. The rear end has all new stock replacement drum brake parts (shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, etc).

Haha, yeah, I figured with the brakes that I had up front that the drums would be fine out back. John's car has a similar setup in the front, and his car stops VERY well for a 4500lbs car.

Man, it really hasn't been that bad doing these pans. I've got 2-3 days total on what I've gotten done so far.

I had to replace the power door lock actuator on an '08 Chevy pickup today for a lady my wife works with and then I had some other running around to do, so I didn't get started welding the left side pan in. I plan on getting it welded in tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.

Also need to get my '57 Chevy picked up from my buddy's upholstery shop hopefully one day this week and do a little clean up on it before I put it up for sale.

We have some. The right side floor pan fit in there so well, that I really didn't have to do much extra work. I put a floor jack under the brace that goes under the rear section to push it up to where I could get the pan down flat on the brace. Other than that, it fit in there really well, surprisingly. I will use the Cleco's when I put the left side in because the left side pan has a flange where it overlaps the right side. Where the overlap is, I'll put a few down through there to pull it together nice and tight.

Floor pans are DONE. Going to start tearing out wiring harness tomorrow. The plan is to hit the harness all day tomorrow.

Sean, I am posting from my phone, so I wasn't able to post any pictures earlier. It basically looks just like the picture on the previous page with the full floor pans in, just completely welded up now. Lol.

Thanks Corey. The floors really weren't that big of a deal. Just took my time getting the old pans out, cleaned up the braces, etc, trimmed and fitted the new pans, drilled the holes for spot welds and went to town.
