X2 I had to make a sudden "cut" @ 70mph in my wifes ford edge and I swear that bitch lifted a wheelOriginally posted by Buick355 View PostI'm not a big fan of Chrysler products, but I'd like to see them perform this test on comparable SUV's like the Explorer.Interested in being a VIP member and donating to the site? That test was done at 43mph, not 70mph. I'd bet the Edge does better in the Moose Test.Originally posted by Mach1 View PostX2 I had to make a sudden "cut" @ 70mph in my wifes ford edge and I swear that bitch lifted a wheelOriginally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. Isn't this the same BS they did with the explorers or bronco IIs back in the 90's? SUV's are always top heavy.... it's like people saying Jeep needs to recall all jeeps due to death wobble.... when ALL solid front axles have death wobble if you dont take care of your shit.

This, plus the average bull moose is between 1000lbs-1600lbs. A lot of people die hitting moose on the road.Originally posted by Yale View PostIf you think hitting a moose is like hitting a whitetail, you're beyond mistaken. It's like hitting a Brahma Bull on stilts. And let's say you do hit it in the legs. Now you have something weighing hundreds of pounds crashing into your passenger compartment (remember when you chose protecting your grill over that?) at 45 miles an hour. That's the same as if you dropped the animal on yourself from a 4th floor window. Nice try, though.Ded

I watched the video, I listened, I realize that this test was done at 43mph.Originally posted by DON SVO View PostThat test was done at 43mph, not 70mph. I'd bet the Edge does better in the Moose Test.

I was just posting my personal experience, I didn't "try" to roll it over, I didn't cut the wheel as hard as they were. I was just caught off guard that it felt that way, I didn't feel like it should have upset the car that much.Interested in being a VIP member and donating to the site? Never said you did! Just clarifying for those reading that your experience should not reflect any sort of design defect by a FoMoCo vehicle that in any way resembles the Jeep's inherent deisgn flawsOriginally posted by Mach1 View PostI watched the video, I listened, I realize that this test was done at 43mph.
