I'm sure I would see similar numbers, if not less. I do drive my mazda like a bat out of hell most of the time, hard acceleration, etc., which is probably part of the reason I only see ~24 MPG average. That and it runs rich as hell.

My MSM never saw 20mpg!! It was a big change from the na I traded in for it. The other thing I am not used to is the tiny tank in the mustang. My FX took 22-24 gallons!

My Mazdaspeed holds 14, light comes on at 10 (go figure). That means on average with my 50 mile round trip commute I'm filling up my car every 4-5 work days. We drive my wife's mini on the weekends to save gas, that fucker gets like, 35 MPG AVERAGE.

I see 16.5 over longer ranges, almost all city driving. I have not taken any trips, but on short highway usage, it shows 23mpg at 75 or so. I seldom drive that slow unless Matt and his brethren make me.

My prelude that I bought after the MSM would get 29mpg. That thing sipped gas, I loved it. The MSM got shit mileage and had a tiny tank, I think it was 12. I commuted from 820/121 to downtown Dallas everyday.

jeez, i didn't realize the new 5.0's were that bad. our pushrod 6.2 liter ls3 averages 24 mixed and see's ~30 pure highway and i heard the ls2's were even a little better (albeit down 35 hp).
