Oh, I know. I've spent many hours in the cockpit of the 9 (on the ground). I used to work for Northwest "We have the largest fleet of DC-9s in the world" Airlines.
Oh sorry. I was dumbing the "tech" talk down to civi level. I have many buddies at Northwest. I have been in a 10 series up to the 30 series. Including the 80 and 82 we have. The 717 is a good plane and very fuel efficient. Northwest made a ton of money with their fleet of 9's
