I guess I've been pretty fortunate, I've always bought cars that I like, and not had to drive a POS. They weren't always fast or cool, but fun enough for me in one way or another.

The reason I bought the 626 was because I needed a good daily driver, and one of my mom's colleagues was selling this at a good price (now I know why). She revealed after I traded the POS in that she had had transmission problems with it as well, and had got it fixed right before she sold it to me. Fucking cunt didn't disclose that before.

I picked up an 82gt turned 87-93 that was a basket case. Got it running, worked out a few wiring issues, and got stumped on a ratting that it was making. It litterally sounded like you were dragging chains behind the car. Wouldnt do it on jack stands, only driving. I sold it to a guy looking for a project.

1985 jeep Cherokee v6 2.8 liter.

Slow turd. No power. Was 4x4 but it didn't work.

Exhaust leak, heater core went out, oil pump went out, rusted hood, head gasket blew, finally blew a hole in the block.

Here's mine: 1996 Mazda 626. Leaked oil, but the dealership pcouldn't figure out from where or why, and the transmission went out 3 times before I finally got rid of it.
