This POS is a 1986 Ford Laser. I got this in Japan for $250 after trashing and selling off my '79 Celica to a junk yard. It was basically a Mazda 323 with Ford badges. It was uncomfortable. it couldn't go up hill to save its life and I had to replace the alternator a couple of times.

I ended up selling it to a junk yard (for $500) and getting a Corolla.

          this isn't/wasn't mine
I had a 91 escort gt, got it for free with a fucked transmission, sold it to a scrap yard for 100 bucks.

This piece of Donkey Shit right here! Only thing it had going for it was that it was pretty fast for it's day. Only car I've ever owned that I avoided driving because I was afraid of what would break next. It sat parked while for sale, and some dude flew in from Florida to buy it...it actually shit the AC compressor (in July) on the way to pick him up from the airport!!

If I saw this car on fire and I was holding a water hose....I'd find some grass or flowers to water instead.

One of my buddies in high school had a Triumph Spitfire...I remember helping push that car more than I recall actually riding in it.

And my was positive ground, which I guess would make it the king of darkness. I carried a spare battery with me everywhere I went.

Shit, don't even get me started on those. I bought one that "just had a warped cylinder head". Turns out that if you have a warped cylinder head on those, the ONLY option is to put a new one (or unsurfaced one) on it. And, conveniently, there are none to be had.

                    • I've liked all my cars, but the wife had an '03 Jeep Liberty that I hated. Every fucking window regulator broke and I had to replace them with aftermarket metal ones. Interior started falling apart too, cheap plastic stuff breaking all over. The drivetrain was reliable enough but the rest of it was shit.
