I saw a video quote from the guy's father, and wife who was run over. Father said that his son is not a good person and the guy in the Land Rover was just protecting his family, his Brown Trash neck tatted wife said "If you wanna profile black and brown people like you always do then he's guilty." Or something like that, despite the fact that his asshole-ness was caught on video. The guy in the Rover was completely in the right.

I didn't know he was black or brown, just knew he was in the wrong. Karma is a fickle beast sometimes she's slow... sometimes she strikes immediately. This was the latter.

Biker Run Over in SUV Dispute Hires Celebrity Attorney Gloria Allred

On the same day 100 motorcyclists rallied near his Manhattan hospital, the biker who was run over during a dispute caught on camera between a group of riders and an SUV driver hired celebrity attorney Gloria Allred to represent him in a potential case against the man who mowed him down.

The family of Edwin Mieses Jr. announced Wednesday in a statement that they retained the media-savvy Los Angeles attorney who stars in a courtroom TV show and has represented clients in lawsuits against Michael Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger and former mayoral candidate Anthony Wiener.

Mieses broke his leg and suffered spinal injuries after he and a group of bikers clashed with a Range Rover on the West Side Highway Sunday. The altercation has drawn national attention since footage from a biker's helmet-mounted camera went viral, garnering nearly 6 million YouTube views.

Saw them and more on the youtubes/facebook before they were taken down. That one guy didn't get the initial stuff on video. Also claims the battery just happened to die before the guy was pulled from the Rover. I doubt that. lol Supposedly wasn't much though, lightly cutting people off and brake-checking, honking, cussing at people. Weaving erratically through the pack of bikes.

Just because everyone else is being an asshole does't mean it's a good idea for you to do so as well. Get into a car vs. bike altercation the bike is going to lose. Pick a fight with a mob of folks and you're going to lose.

If you choose to put yourself in the position to learn a painful lesson go right ahead, but don't do that with your family in your car.

The Liens called 911 to report "aggressive driving" but didn't call back after the multiple collisions and chase. Maybe the husband was too concerned with driving, maybe the wife was too scared to operate a phone, or maybe the driver knew letting the roadrage get the best of him just got him into serious trouble. Smartest thing he did that day was lawyer-up.

One thing is for sure, they guy that was trying to help the first downed rider the suv driver hit will never walk again.
