My thoughts are with this guy's kids and family. Because of his and his bros stupidity and disrespect for other motorists his family is left with the aftermath. He may never play ball, rough house or even dance at his daughter's wedding all over a pissing contest.

Honestly the guy in the Rover could have been me about 10 years ago. My daughter and I were driving near downtown Dallas on I35 when a large group just like this came up on our car. They were riding down the road taking all lanes of traffic, doing their tricks, weaving, at speeds above and below the speed limit. I was in the center lane and apparently they didn't take kindly to me driving in the center lane and not moving over off the road for their entire group to pass. They swarmed me, swerved at me, brake checked me, and luckily I was able to hit a small gap and take a quick exit onto Regal. This could have easily gotten out of hand and if so stopping my car would not have been an option regardless how many were in front of me. If I mouthed off, made an obscene gesture, or swerved back in anger I am positive it would have gotten ugly for me and my daughter quick. These guys are riding like they own the road and I am sure the guy in the Rover let his temper get the better of him and apparently mouthed off/made an obscene gesture. So what! If a mob like this blocked me, my wife, and kid into a corner I guarantee the outcome would be similar or even worse.

LOL, random thoughts from reading this thread. Isn't this site kind of a online mob?

"Everyone wants to blame the bikers for something this man did," she said.
Edwin Mieses, known as Jay Meezee, is an aspiring rapper from outside Boston, and the couple has two children, ages 15 and 9. Dayana Mieses told Boston station WBZ-TV that her husband got off his bike to help another rider who was struck in an initial collision with the SUV.
"When all the bikers stopped, my husband got out, parked his bike to walk over to try to help his friend," she said. "He walked over towards the front of the vehicle when, at this point, I don't know what happened: the man was scared, the man just peeled off and ran over my husband."

Guest repliedThe other thing you have to figure, is most of us on here have seen the mentalities through the years on this board of the "Stunta" crowd being a motor vehicle centric group of people and had time to digest it. Your average dude on the street might not know what the hell is going on seeing something like this and it might be his first ever experience with that type of behavior. People are much more inclined to panic when they don't know what the hell is going on, especially if their family is with them.

Accident, lol, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I was born at night, but not last night. Been on too many street rides, stunt rides, cruises, bike nights, ride nights, group trips etc. Too familiar with the road raging tough guy motorist. Guys on facebook were talking about what happened before I even knew what they were mentioning. Videos weren't even uploaded yet. SUV allegedly swerved at, cut off, cussed, and honked at riders.
Go looking for trouble like that you can bet your ass your gonna find more of it than you can handle.
Drug crazed bikers beating cars, raping chicks, and feeding them acid is only in Mad Max movies.
SUV shouldn't have road raged, the rider on the 400lb bike shouldn't have challenged a 5000lb SUV, some people have the balls to kill, gonna lose everytime. Both are at fault in my book. You don't get a free pass to swerve and brake check random people on bikes with your SUV because they are breaking the law. Multiple wrongs don't make a right.
It's like you guys think motorcycle riders would just attack you and yours unprovoked just because. I'm clueless as to why you would think that, but I've never seen it like that ever in 15 years and 150k miles. If anything happens, which is rare, it takes a lot.
I got hit by some stupid bitch on 75 not paying attention in 2002 who changed lanes into me. I didn't pull her from her car and beat her. It was an accident. It happens, but if you willfully try to hit people and shit they WILL get you when you stop.
Don't be dick head trying to hit people with your car and no one will pay you any attention. Simple as that.

I wasn't there so I don't know for sure, but it seems MUCH more likely that this guy was intimidated and not expecting someone to shut down the highway so they could stunt. He didn't know to get over to the right or was scared to because they were buzzing all around him and got scared (rightly so) after making unintentional contact and was immediately surrounded by a pack of bikers with serious chips on their shoulders.
I feel bad for the injured on both sides, but I hope the Yuppie gets a serious pay day and I hope the guy in a coma wakes up, walks again and has the clarity to realize that he had an active role in avoiding his fate.
The initial altercation probably could have been avoided but the fact is that the anomaly here was hundreds of bikes asserting their ownership of the road, not an SUV carrying a family driving in the middle lane. All sympathy for the plight of the motorcyclists flies out the window as soon as there's an animal punching the window that's inches away from a baby girl.
