I don't know why I would get mad looking at a shot block that I dont own & shouldn't care about... but I'm warm, to say the least.
Glad the truck is in your hands. I think.

No we talked about the hole in the block. The story is.

"Out drinking, racing friends on a long road for a good while, don't know how fast I was going but over 100 easy, and it just died so I took the battery to oreillys and they said it was bad. So I put a new battery and it didn't work so I pulled the starter and saw the hole, I figured it broke a rocker arm"

    "Lq9s are like $6-7,000"

What was left of the rods seemed like they still had bearings and moved about smoothly.

Stacking bearings always makes for a good time!

started a topic Lq9 carnage pictures.

    Lq9 carnage pictures.

I was in a hurry to get in before dark so I didn't get a lot of pictures.

Dunno what caused it, but looks like the two back pistons melted and the rods broke/chewed up. One bent pushrod, intake valve on rear passenger cylinder. Other then getting stuck on debris the engine still turned and what was left of the rods on the crank wasn't seized. Each cylinder had debris and the intake manifold and intake ports.

What can cause that to happen? He said he was wot on a long road when it happened and be thought the battery died.

    BOOM BITCH!
Working...
