Out of the whole scene, that's the only gig I have on the LEO. I get it, he was amp'ed up, but maintain that language a little and it takes away ammo from the community of people that want to blame the cops for everything and not take any personal responsibility.

I would love to see someone's parents out of that group say something like...."Yeah, my kid screwed up and is paying dearly for it at home. He/she will apologize and work to attempt to fix what he/she screwed up - even if it was the group she was with - she was a part of it. However, that LEO did XYZ that I do not agree with...etc...etc."

Don't think we'll see that though.

Edit: I'm not FTP, but I'm not a fan of how law enforcement is going now. However, as of now I never want to blame all cops for what is policy and/or some rotten apples. With that said, I don't trust any when I see them due to the reputation.

You mean screaming obscenities at a bunch of kids isn't conducive to getting them to hang around? Sounds crazy.

That's not true. Pulling it out to prevent further escalation is good enough for me.

That's reason enough. He started to get surrounded and outnumbered. ALWAYS maintain control of the scene. I drew down each and every time we had a felony stop. Only one time was the other person armed.
