Look, I'll be one of the first FTPers when I see some bullshit, but I can't do that in this incident. Rodney's heart is bleeding too much black and CJ doesn't understand levels of force. I can't do anything more here.

Exactly what I was going to say. If you think the best course is 2 LEO's to restrain 1 teenage girl, how many officers would have been needed there? 250 or more?

We would have been charged with assault if we did so, as some counselors were.
There is a problem with that process. The term "victim" has been severely misused as of late.

He said that he bit his lip when he fell to the ground.

It amazes me that a middle age cop with all that gear on can catch a young, athletic person n foot.

Did you not see the guy that was about to jump the cop, practically being drug back, by cops? What happened when the cops caught up to him?

Usually not into the blaze articles much, but this one does an okay job so far. (about 1/2 way through it.)

    This may summarize it best....

I don’t like watching a teenage girl get thrown to the sidewalk, either, but of all the hand-wringing over it, nobody has suggested what else an officer is supposed to do when a person — teenage girl or otherwise — refuses to comply. Just let them walk away? Keep asking nicely? Tickle them into submission?

No thanks!!! I'm too old and smart to do any of that shit. I have more protection as a civilian. The ones I know still in it all want out or hate what the job has become. Plus, with every camera on you these days, it would just be a matter of time before you saw me doing a Jack Black roll on Fox News.
