Below is about as long as I let mine get before I trim it back.. Working in an office and being a manager, I try to keep it somewhat tidy. In that pic it's about 2" (but I keep it brushed, rather than fluffed out).



On average, it's more like this (about 1"):



I have had a goatee since finishing active duty in 1997, but have been pretty consistently rocking the full beard for roughly the last 5 years or so..

Started in 2012, kept it trim until 5/13, then said "fuck it," however, I've kept the sides in shape, and will likely have to trim up for an externship with the FTC this fall, and/or Mock Trial competition.
