If I was driving the car and got stung or something along those lines, the sting would have been the last thing on my mind after the impact, I would have pulled over and jumped out, run to the people that I hit and tried to help them.

I'm not condoning what the guy did in any way what so ever. I think he was wrong is attempting some BS vigilante justice. However, I do think a big part of the responsibility lies on the bikers shoulders as well. If he wasn't passing in a no passing zone none of this would have even happened. Just because you're able to get by safely doesn't mean that you can skirt the law to do so.
To be unbiased and honest the DA should charge the rider with crossing a double yellow line and passing in a no passing zone.

If he'd have worn a full helmet like a smart person his face wouldn't be all busted up.Originally posted by BoostedD1 View Posthttp://www.wfaa.com/story/news/local...d-up/73908932/

No excuse, imo. Getting stung don't hurt that fuckin bad. Definitely not enough for him to risk death by whipping over to the wrong lane in a panic, which would mean that he wasn't even looking at what was going on over there before he did it. He acts like the be was about the same size has he was and it punched him in the face a few times as well.Originally posted by Mach1 View PostIf I was driving the car and got stung or something along those lines, the sting would have been the last thing on my mind after the impact, I would have pulled over and jumped out, run to the people that I hit and tried to help them.WH

I was driving on a mountain road in colorado with the windows down. A bumblebee that was the size of a ping pong ball flew in the widow, hit the back glass and started making his way toward me. I still managed to keep control of the truck and safely stop.Originally posted by Gasser64 View PostNo excuse, imo. Getting stung don't hurt that fuckin bad. I also got stung by a jellyfish earlier this year, which hurt 10 times worse than any wasp. I still had the composure to calmly exit the water. Then I screamed and cussed like a crazy person, but damn it, I was calm while I was in the water.
Final point, I've owned several MN12 based cars and they're extremely stable on dry pavement, it would take a serious yank on the wheel to slide the ass end out like that.
I think his intention was to scare them and he accidentally hit them, then he was thinking fast for an excuse as to why he would swerve.

If the old man had died in his sleep the night before, none of this would have even happened.Originally posted by Venom View PostI'm not condoning what the guy did in any way what so ever. And yes, if you're able to pass illegally in a safe manner, it does mean that you can skirt the law to do so. It doesn't mean that you're allowed to, but it certainly doesn't mean that you can't.
