It's got to suck being on the losing side of that battle every single day. Dealing with the trash of Chiraq on a daily basis, seeing the community just die more and more every day. At some point you just want to take the trash out.

It hurts the Cops more than you because they love you.
They'll hurt you to protect you and you'll like it!

Rahm Emanuel, the mayor of Chicago who also happens to be a Democrat was going through re-election.

    Go figure.

If they charged those involved for obstruction, accessory, etc then this may happen less in the future.

    No.

Guy in Lancaster unloaded a AR15 on a guy in his house. The guys wasn't even breaking in either just a bad deal. No billed! Now if you were to re load after he was down and shot him even two more times they could get you.

No matter what the situation is anymore you always get a case filed on you for murder. Just depends on the grand jury on whether or not it goes to trial.

I watched the long video that they keep showing. Not sure on their tactics or whether anyone tried less lethal before they got there and that will make a big difference in the case. The 16 was a bit much for a guy with a knife. I will say that Tasers are mostly ineffective against bath salts and PCP.

I saw a guy shrug off two direct hits one time. Took six guys to get him into custody. Until you have fought one of these fuckers you can not really grasp what it does to them. It took eight of us to wrap one up one night that was already in a cell for 8 hours. 5am he went nuts and had kicked, punched, and elbowed through the 1 1/2 inch, steel reinforced safety glass. We hit him with pepper, taser and then ran in with shields. Handcuffed, and strapped to the gurney he fought four of us all they way to the hospital. The magic cocktail the hospital has was the only thing that took him down (maybe we need dart guns with this). The cell had blood from top to bottom and you could see his tendons moving though the holes in his elbows, hands, and feet. Some wild stuff. What's really bad is we all knew immediately when calls came out in certain areas of neighbor hoods who it was. We had three that we dealt with all the time. Must be a hell of a high.

Think of the outrage if this guy had ran down the street and started stabbing people. It wouldn't have taken much. Things can change in a hurry in just seconds. I say the officer has a fair chance at being acquitted. Now the police officer having like 20 something complaints for excessive force or whatever is absolutely not going to help him. I just can't imagine how you can still be employed after that may complaints.

The cop should have been a garbage man with how well he took out that trash.

He absolutely should be charged with murder. That's exactly what this was.

What was he being pursued for? Knife and pcp, and the cop emptied a magazine into him, there is a story there, and it looks like the cop wasn't prepared to handle it right.
