Correct on the velocity, but that isnt a M1a. The only round it could possibly be is a 125mm HEAT round.

Honestly I wasn't even paying attention to the tank itself. That velocity has to be a sabot as well.

There is are plenty of russian 125 projectiles that use the folding stabilizers. I doubt its a sabot because there is never any separation and the stabilizers are visible from the front.

My money in on a version of the russian shaped charge stuff like Pokulski mentioned. Although it looks like they are moving closer to 3000fps than 5.
