Understanding this is borderline conspiracy theory, I heard an interesting thought on why crude oil is falling today. The thought is that the decline in oil prices is part of the tactics by the Allies to defeat ISIS. The best way to hurt ISIS is probably to cut off or dampen their funding, and they are well funded because of high oil prices. Lower oil prices means less $$ for ISIS.

Why aren't you looking at wholesale gas prices? Isn't that dropping right now? I think it's $2.32. I read it takes two to three weeks for the gasoline commodity price (plus margins) to make it to us at the pump.

I Was reading yesterday that something very simliar to this was the final nail in the coffin for the collapse of the soviet union, I think the West is doing it again to Russia since their economy relies on $100/barrel
