Still have the same old 1982 GT. Fired up the 408 for the first time Sunday night, but I still need to clean up loose ends before it is running and driving.

Whoa! That's crazy. Definitely don't need another project, though.

I am sure. I have met quite a few people that are in the tripple digits. At least my first, second and third cars ever were Stangs. lol Its been about a year since I owned one though.

EDIT: Actually just shy of a year cause I ran it at the Half Mile last year in November.

So after only a couple of days, over 100 responses and well over half of us still have Mustangs.

So maybe it isn’t just the same dozen people posting and maybe we do still have some things in common. Just sayin.

Still have my '69 but I'm mad at it right now and it's been relegated to hiding under a cover over in the storage side of my building for the past 3 years...

I never saw a spoiler on an '05-09 that looked better than a smooth decklid.

Its exactly the opposite on the '10-14s! It has this weird duck lip shape that needs something to break it up. IMO anyway.

I almost got a 1977 Mustang II Fastback as my first car...so that counts for something. In highschool I tried to get my parents to buy a friends really nice 84 T-Top GT hatch manual but they decided the 175hp V8 was WAYYYY too much power for a 17yo kid. In 2010 I came EXTREMELY close to buying an 88 5sp GT convertible but someone snatched it out from under me before I could get the money. My 85 Grand National was built during the time of the Mustang/Buick rivalry...and has always brought me to many Buick vs Ford (Mustang) events...so in theory...I KINDA have a car that is similar to a Mustang...its got 4 wheels like a Mustang...it has a trunk like some Mustangs...it has a TURBOCHARGER like the SVO and now Ecoboost Mustangs...the motor is up front and the drive wheels are out back like a Mustang...but my Buick is just more comfortable and FASTER than a Mustang

As much as I love new ones. Just cant see myself selling mine to get one.

Still want to get mine where I want it. Will take some years, but willing to wait it out. Thw wing will be something I will debate till the build day is here. Want front bumper/grill from 08 Shelby', deciding on hood and backend. Pretty much all for outside. Suspension/motor/tranny the big bucks. And yes, probably looking to keep the 3v. But who knows when 3-4 years will do.

    Pretty much

    Wingless looks so good.

I’m not objective at all when it comes to 05-09’s because I love them, but I think when the shitty 6cyls start dying off like old SN95’s did, that body is going to age well.
