Thanks for the warning guys, my $200 Slash has turned into a $2k project, and I haven't even raced yet. Hella fun though, and cheaper than modding a real car.

Been running my SC10 2wd and RC10B4.1 at mikes in Carrollton. Found out 2 things so far. The RTR ESC and Motor are crap, and super soft tires are a must...

I bought a Jato 3.3 around Christmas and it's been a lot of fun. I haven't run RC cars since I ran electrics back when I was kid. I had an RC Falcon and my brother ran the original RC-10. Long time ago. The Jato 3.3 is a LOT faster and I've heard the new electric cars are nuts with brushless motors and lithium batteries, etc.

I havn't ran my Revo 3.3 in over a year. There is no place in waco that sells fuel that I'm aware of. I have an amazon gift card, and was looking at getting a gallon of fuel. I'm surprised this stuff can be shipped.

Since it hasn't ran in so long is there anything I need to be mindful of? clean the air filter and let it idle a bit?

I also know of a skate park here that would be fun to bash in! I've been eyeing it for a long time. There is also a tiny little RC track behind a lube shop that some guys run at. There's no fence or signs so maybe I can break my truck there!
