For what scale? 1/10th or 1/8th? Do you run 2s or 4s lipos?

Had a blast again tonight. Jumped off the track once and hit Elvis on accident. My bad bro lol. Good racing.

Close to the same here. While on vacation we went to a track (after being out of the hobby about 20 years). Got to see some 1/8th electric buggies run. Left the track and went a book store and bought a couple of RC magazines. Once back from vacation I ordered a complete set-up. Raced for several years when I was 13-19y/o. Now I have horrible hand eye coordination and could care less how I finish. Just go out to have fun and hang out.

Oh yeah after seeing in the new catalogs that several of the RC company's are making their old kits again, how long until there is a vintage class to race in? That would be awesome. I'll have to go buy a Sand Scorcher for that...

I was never huge into it because I was a poor white kid, but my first real RC car was a Super Champ in the mid 80's. I still have a huge stack of RC magazines somewhere I would drool all over when I was just a kid. I've had a Blackfoot back when they all had manual speed controls, RC12 (wicked fast), a few other buggies at one time, and most recently I bought a T-Maxx. That truck is fun and I've only raced it only one time. I mostly pull it out to just bash around with, but it's just too dangerous around my area. It is like a magnet for anyone under the age of twelve and they have no idea it may very well snap their legs if they don't get out of the way. I'm thinking I definetly need a new electric with a brushless/LiPo setup.....

man ive been into R/C's since i was like 12 (23yrs... EEK) Nitro is fun and gets a ton of attention over electric, but im an electric fan... faster and cheaper to maintain not to mention cleaner.... name anything land related and ive pretty much had it..... at this point ive sold off all my R/C stuff, and am left with some classics, wild willy(from 79) a wild willy 2, parma hemi coupes one from the 80s and one from the 90's, and a tamiya mud blaster...... my last stint in racing was when the SC scene started with the traxxas slash.... it was a blast.

I only have 7 packs through mine but I like it a lot. I'm Sure the belt will hold up fine outdoors. Elvis runs outerwear on his slash to keep dirt out. If they make one for the sc10 4x4 then nothing would get to it but the belt is sealed off pretty good already. Took my cover off to check the tension and it was clean in there.

You can't go wrong with the 2wd losi. I have only broken 1 part on it so it's pretty durable. To me it's one of the easiest 2wd trucks to drive after you set it up to your driving style. My brother has a blitz and he runs mid pack with it. He broke it one week and slovanova let him race his xxx sct. He ran 1st and just looked way smoother with it his first time ever racing it.
