Did some checking of my measurements tonight from 12-21-10 until now.

my chest is a full inch bigger and my biceps are a inch bigger. thighs and waist are down.
I've been going to the gym no less than 3 times a week(I try for 5 days a week,)I can tell that my clothes aren't as tight and my body feels firmer...but,I feel like I look the same(except for my arms,I can see more muscle) and apparently I've gained 4lbs...

I need to do some measurements, see if there are any changes there. I'm not too worried about the weight gain,as long as I am getting toned and my clothes are fitting...I'm okay with it.

I stretched before and after, the after stretch felt pretty good... but it's acting up pretty bad right now.

I guess we will see how to prednisone works, like I said, I'm kind of freaked out to take it. BUT,if it helps heal/take away pain, I'll take it! My doctor has me taking it in increments,5-4-3-2-1-1-1
I'm sorry to hear that you're in pain. Perhaps a sensual massage would help?

    BTW....... I know a guy!

My knee is getting better. I have not tried to run on it yet as i know its not ready.

My lifts have stayed steady. I actually should eat more imho. I've only had time to shove 2000 in a day here lately. I have pushed new pr's and my body feels it. I know its time to rest when my shoulder/back start to have pain. Not the good pain.

We will see how the rest this weekend goes. Hit it heavy on monday again.

With that said im down to 168 from 176.
I haven't stepped ona scale in almost 2 weeks(odd for me) but I can tell that my body feels a little tighter. I finally did lower body stuff on Thursday(WOW,I'm still feeling like jello...) My nerve doesn't hurt AS much anymore,it still has its spasms and moments but no where near as much or painful! I need to start pushing myself more, for sure.

    Like I said...stretch!
I recooped from my injury in 8 weeks, but did a lot of stretching and it just healed itself.
You are going to LOVE the way that prednisone tastes(it's a form of a steriod, but not the kind you are thinking)!
I sometimes have to take it for my asthma whenever it gets really bad.

I'm ready for the pain to go away for sure! He said he didn't really want me to work out but if I do, to be VERYcareful and not to work my lower half until I'm healed... So I guess I'll continue working my upper body and running(I probably shouldn't do that either but, oh well!)

Ouch . I'm sorry to hear this. My ex-wife had surgery for a slipped disc from an ice skating accident that was putting a lot of pressure on her sciatic nerve. I would never wish that kind of pain on anyone.

Running probably puts a lot of pressure on the spinal cord and might hurt your nerve. Be very careful.

The good news is that you are far closer to your goal than I think you realize. Heck you are realistically runway and red carpet ready right now.

The nerve is in my lower back but the pain starts in my left butt cheek and goes up my back and down my leg. I can't bend at a 90 degree angle, stretch, sit or stand long, etc without it causing pain or having spasms. But I guess pain is beauty, right?!
I dislike biking, but I may switch it out some time..

I was just there last month for Knee pain, and they said i was fine. Its a very localized pain on the inside of the knee.

LOL, thanks but I'm a bit far from my "goal"...

    - At the doctors right now getting checked out, I know he's going to tell me, "no working out for x amount of time.."
