If you were able to cut that calorie intake down to 1800 you will lose 1 more lb per week in addition to what you're already losing.

For snacks try eating fresh veggies, pickles, etc...food with little calories but filling.

I you want something sweet try the jello sugar free cups. The caramel mousse is great as are many others and they're only 60 calories. Great substitute for things like ice cream.

I'm afraid I'll have to get dizzy running the indoor track this week or do some treadmill running which I don't really like. I really enjoyed last Monday's outdoor run in a park around duck ponds and whatnot. If anyone lives in Coppell and isn't using Andy Brown park for their runs, you are making a mistake.

Hopefully itll iron itself out soon. I hate walking, as im just starting to get a few minutes in before having to slow for a min.

Being a smoker for all my adult life and only being 6-7 months out, my lungs have a long way to go.

Other than that i still weigh the same as i did last week. Im glad ive got the next two days off to recover. I really wish at times like these i had a job that used more of my brain than my body. I do alot of walking on concrete 3-5 hours a day.

Diet is still going well. I cheated today and had a coke and a little ice cream. Still under 3k calories.

Other than that im beat and so is the body.
Sleeper, I'm not sure what to say. It sounds pretty damn rough. My biggest fear is getting hurt in my own journey, so then I can't exercise.

I'd be happy to come walk with you if you want someone to come along. You may also want to look into a book by Danny Dreyer called Chi walking. I have is book Chi Running. It's a little far out there and zen like at times, but his explanation of common running injuries and things that work is pretty good. You may see if there is a section like that in his walking book.

You might also want to try runners world forums. There are a lot of doctors posting on running forums out there. You can get a lot of free advice and take what is best for you from it.

Last year I couldn't run a lick, but right now I can run until I run out of fuel and or time. You have to start from somewhere. Starting is the hardest part. Getting through the first few weeks is the most awful part. It does get better.

After working out i take a scoop and a half of protein powder.

After that its time for supper. I eat whatever the wife cooks, and she lost 60 pounds last year and is currently about to train for a marithon.

I've been working like a madman. I did get in a swim last night though, and swam a new fast personal best.

I have responded to all PMs.

So far we have 4 contestants, 3 official and one unofficial and 2 judges. We need another judge and a few more contestants too.

And for the record, I'm probably fatter than all of you, but I can run bike and swim faster than I could 10 years ago when I was still within Navy weight standards too.

My goal is to get down to that weight in the next 2 years but be more fit than I ever was. I ran 2.5 miles Monday night on a scenic route around some ponds with ducks and enjoyed the view. I can currently run 5K with faster mile splits than my passing mile splits on my Navy 1.5mile runs. Who knew? I'm still 50 pounds heavier too. I plan to be less than 210 on March 27th and well under 200 by June 6th. In June I will post up pictures at 250+ and what I weigh in June.

If anyone wants to meet me for a run, just holler. We are doing the run for the beads 5K in Oak Cliff in March. I forget what day exactly. And then we will be doing the Tour Dallas bike ride on April 2nd. I also have some charity run my wife wants us to do for battered and abused women in April.

Do what you need to do! I'm probably going for an indoor bike ride tonight since it's too damn cold outside.

I'm currently at 225 down from a high of 281 a year and a half ago (I'm 6'0"). I was down to 206 last year, but due to promotion/school/divorce I've been slacking on the diet and excercise department. I'm hoping this contest will kick start me back on track to getting back to a healthy lifestyle and the health benefits that come with it. I'd like to get to eventually get to 180, but for the contest I would like to at least get under 200.
Feel free to get jump start on the pics prior to approval from Anthony just in case he can't answer
