    Everything they are saying is correct. I rooted mine with very small issues. (mostly because I didnt read and double check my stock evo) If you want help man Im in mesquite and Im sure we could knock it out.

      ok, another question. I don't know if I missed it in all the reading that I've been doing or if it just hasn't been mentioned. do I have to be wired into my PC via USB or is all this done WITHOUT my PC?

                    Unless you destroy your phone or rhe usb port needing an in warranty replacement, you can revert it 100%. I've done it.

                      haha, it's an easy joke.

                      But yea, how often can you actually still use the phone and send it in for a warranty replacement? It can't be often. Normally it is fubar for most people to send it back for a replacement.

                      I guess if it is fubar, how would they know it was rooted?

                          changelog in unrevoked says it works with hboot 2.10 which is the newest.
