I got a shit amp though, so I run them through my MS40's. I usually run sans headphones as I like my ms40/psw110 combo more. Maybe when I get one of those amps' Geor listed i'll use them more. But ever since my friends dumped bf3 for dota I haven't been running vent so there has been no need for the headphones, which is nice because I can let the sub fly.

I also have those, great headphones, and break away cables.

If the quality of the song is greatly reduced through the mp3 format, why would you need truly bad ass earphones? Can they bring the lost quality back?

And Geor, DAMN! No way in hell I could bring myself to cut loose with that kind of coin on a set of buds...

It's not the format. It's the bitrate. 128kbps blows. 256k and up is usually hard to distinguish from cd quality which is 512k if I remember correctly.

im not digging the rubber. shoving them in my ears creates a suction that makes it very uncomfortable to put in my ear and pull out. if i could find a set just like my old iphone had, that wild be great! except it would have to work with android

dammit you guys. I have been half assed searching for a set of decent ear buds for a while now. I travel a lot by air and I have to have earphones in, music on, and eyes closed during takeoff or I damn near skitz out. I went and looked up the monster turbine stuff after seeing this thread as I had seen those a while back and after a bit of research I bought the turbine pro copper editions. Got them new in the box for a damn good price compared to everywhere else but still $125 for ear buds is kinda crazy.
