Did you bootstrap it so he would have clockwork recovery?

I just got the droid x after having a rooted org. droid for over a year.

If you want to get rid of Blur the best rom i have found is Liberty.
The droid x battery lasts way longer without Moto Blur!

No, he just wanted me to root it so he could change a few things. He could just use rom manager and boot into cwm, not a big deal.

I'm on the liberty rom now but I think my battery did better with gummyjar.

What kind of battery life do yall get? I had a day and a half of usage and still had 50% left yesterday, I wanted to see if I could make it 2 1/2 to 3 days, but I needed to change my modem and had to reboot the phone, so it lost my stats. Oh well.

I get great battery usage! Before it only lasted half a day, but now that i'm running Liberty ROM and underclocking i get to about 50% by the days end with heavy heavy usage.

I get a full day out of it with the liberty rom, overclocked to 1.2.
