Maybe a stupid question , but will rooting a phone help with the service / reception? I get horrible reception on my note 2. Standing right next to someone with the same provider ( tmobile ) and i'll have one bar with no 4g and they will have full bars / 4g. I don't get it.

No, but getting rid of Sprint helps, if that's your case.

Thanks for the recommendation of Xposed and Gravity Box. Got everything installed and working now and it's exactly what I needed. Any other interesting modules to look at?

Beyond the stuff I mentioned earlier, the only other thing Im running is Lux for custom backlight settings. A friend told me about pairing Lux with Franco kernel as a better way to control backlight.
He also runs another tweak to make the vibrate feature stronger.

bump. everyone still using stock keyboard?

i did this: Gravity Box > Misc Tweaks > Disable Fullscreen Keyboard
which helps but if you are ever in landscape mode, the keyboard is still way too fuckin big.

i kinda hate the suggestion bar.
