From previews, it reminded me of District 9. I actually liked that movie and the CGI was awesome in it as well. I might catch it this weekend.

Great special effects

Script sucked
Story sucked
characters were made out of cardboard

The whole "space illegal" \ evil Immigration thing was way overdone and cliché...

It's like ICE is just hovering around with Apache gunships waiting to take out the poor and destitute while they are crowded in run down buses making a run for the border.

I wasn't impressed either. Decent special effects and futuristic concepts, but pretty lack luster overall.

Basically, I use the abridged scripts to determine if a movie is worth watching or not. They ripped the shit out of this one.
