    Shane was also scratched on the back of the head when he left Otis for dead. So his levels may have been higher causing a faster change.
    EDIT - nvm - Otis is the one that pulled Shane's hair/scratched him

    Interesting side note: John Bernthal(Shane) was on CnR today and said there was an alternate ending filmed and that when Rick and him go out to fight, Shane draws his gun. Rick ends up stabbing him, but after Zombie Shane is dead Rick picks up his gun to find it empty. He said that was one of the things he wanted left in so it would show what type of mindset Shane was in(Batshit Crazy!!)

    And 50CJ was correct when referencing the fact that the actors disliked the way Frank Darabont(Director, season 1) was terminated. Shane was still going to die, Bernthal said he really wanted Darabont to direct the episode.

    Darabont is moving on to LA Noir on TNT(later this year, I think) and Bernthal is going to be in that show too.

      Shit, I didn't know he directed Shawshank... damn.. But The Mist sucked ass... so must have been one hell of a fluke.

            And perfect timing for a Cable company / network contract dispute!!! just saw a commercial that Suddenlink(Abilene cable co.) and AMC are fighting over $$ and they will cut off the channel on 03/15/12 if they don't reach an agreement!

            Looks like I may have to DL the finale on Monday!!

                    I agree with your picks, except I would swap Darryl for Andrea. They've been building up Andrea to die (with her recent carefree suicide talk) and with Merle still out there, Darryl is still an undeveloped character.

                      I'm going to say that Andrea and Darryl both survives and Lori dies on the farm. Norman Reedus did an interview, not long ago, where he discussed how excited he was about filming for season 3.

                            I really hope that when shit starts really falling apart, that Morgan guy from the first season shows up again. The guy that played him is a great character actor, and I'd love to see him after a year or two's further hardship and heartbreak.
