It had been about 10 years since I had seen the first one. A couple of weekends ago my daughter begged me to watch it with her. I forgot how awesome that movie was. She also has the second and third one but I haven't watched those yetLast edited by Mark Preus; 01-12-2013, 11:27 AM.

I liked the first one, hated the second one, liked the the third one. Hope that this one is good.

Jurassic Park IV (2014)
On July 21, 2012, in an interview Frank Marshall stated that*Jurassic Park IV*"will be on the screen within two years". He went on to say that they are aiming for a Summer release as it's a "popcorn movie". He also spoke briefly about the advancements in CGI and what that means for the*Jurassic Park*franchise, but said they won't be losing the animatronic dinosaurs. "That's what's gonna be great about it, technology's taken a leap now that we can really do some great things. He also stated that the "dinosaurs with guns" idea was nothing but a rumor and is not the story for the new film. On January 11, 2013, Universal dated Jurassic Park IV for June 13, 2014.
Deadline*adds that the film will be shot in native 3D. The film will be based on the script by*Rick Jaffa*and*Amanda Silver*(Rise of the Planet of the Apes), who were*hired to write*last year for producers Steven*Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy. Their draft was delivered this week, and now the search for a director is on. (With Spielberg’s*Robopocalypse*delayed, expect much speculation about him directing this episode. Nothing to that effect is even hinted right now, much less confirmed.) But Universal is confident enough in the process to nail down a release date, at least. We don’t have any story info yet.Tags: None
