Marky Mark in Transformers 4?

The fight scenes were cool. The effects were just incredible. Lots of action. The Dinobots rock.

The movie was way too long. Entirely too many human characters and an overload of weak story lines fighting to be the main plot. Too much time spent trying to develop the human characters (I wanted to scream at the screen "We get it already!"). Not enough time building up drama or emotions or solidifying a story line that the audience could give a shit about.

The Dinobots didn't get enough screen time or have their story told. ***spoiler alert***The potentially most awesome bad guy just disappeared halfway through the movie, only to be shown again for literally a glimpse at the end, practically as the credits roll.

Tons of plot holes. One minute several guys are in a battle and then it's just one on one. Where did everybody go? The story begins without connecting you to the end of the last one.

And after all this exhausting, drug out, weak crap, the ending was abrupt and quite anticlimactic. I wanted a better, more dramatic conclusion to the mess, but at the same time, I was just glad it was finally over.

Again, the effects were great. The fight scenes were pretty cool. I said "wow" a couple of times. But overall, it was a jumbled mess. It's like hot lesbian orgy porn where the girls have annoying voices and speak only German. It would have been much better on mute.

But the girl was hot. I mean really hot. But her character was 17, so they make you feel like a dirty old man for drooling over her. I still did. They even throw something in to address the fact that she's technically legal in Texas. Crafty, perverted bastards.

Optimus was less of a pussy this go round. Tho I like sam the humor I think was better. This groups chemistry was,better.

Last I couldn't get over how the daughter was dressed like a,whore most of the movie. I wanted to gut punch her and tell her to fucking change. As soon as she got out the Jeep with those tall as shoes I was like some dipshit didn't realize no girl is gonna wear those if they have to walk up a looooong country gravel driveway everyday after school.

Was great and I think best so far.

If not Michael Bay, who? James Cameron would be ideal but other than him, I can't think of any director that could make "big" movies like this very well. Spielberg maybe.

I liked the others, and expected to like this one more because of the better cast, the Dinobots, advances in special effects, etc. This one sucked despite all of that stuff. It was just too much nonsense going on.

I didn't expect too much from the story. I fully went in expecting to be entertained by the cars and the action. If anything, they tried too hard to put way too many human characters and story lines into it, and it imploded on itself. The action and cars alone were great, but after a couple of hours, even that got boring. They could have done a lot more with it in less time. For example, why not some kind of three-way battle involving Prime, Lockdown, and Galvatron? Why not more Decepticons?

Maybe it would have been better if they stuck to one of the story lines at a time and made two movies. Galvatron and the man-made transformers could have been the antagonists in one movie, and then the next one could be about Lockdown and his buddies, and go deeper into the origins of the transformers. See, the story doesn't have to be anything Oscar worthy, but they could have been a little more careful not to just puke all over themselves like they did this time.

Just my opinion. I wanted to like it, and I'm surprised I didn't.
