Any interest in a $55 CHL one day class??

Were you aware that the 24th is the date of the group ride at RRMT in Bulcher (thread going on in the motorcycle forum).

OK I posted the poll. Spaced it out enough to allow for Labor Day weekend/Dove opener to be skipped, as well as enough time to round everyone up.

Id say as soon as everyone interested is ready. This weekend may be a little too soon for everyone on here to plan, but I do not see why need weekend would not work, or anytime after that.


Edit: If enough interest is there for this weekend we may be able to put a rush on it, but I think it would be better for the group to have more then a few days notice.

Where exactly is this CHL class going to be at? Is it worth the price to go to East Dallas from N.W FT. Worth (By Cabelas)

The range is about 30-35 min out of downtown Dallas ( I usually get there a little quicker with my v1). I think it's less then 30 miles from the big buildings.

inline, if you have it like that, you should have gotten your CHL years ago. quit posting in this thread and go get your sweet hookup. congrats on being in the inner circle of a CHL sweet deal...

now, for the rest of you that don't have the high profile friends like inline does, $55 is a great deal for a CHL class. you will learn a lot about the laws and a lot about the gray areas of using deadly force. pay attention and remember that you will be held to a higher standard than non CHL holders when the DPS issues you that license. i will be up for renewal next June, and i will jump at the chance for a class this inexpensive with a good group of people...

Most classes are around or over $100. So you're saving like $50-60 bucks.
