Those actually come standard on the rifles. They are pretty nice. The ones on the TR models have been prone to breaking through the grip area, but the thumbholes are nice, IMO.

Have you used these? I'm just leery of aftermarket magazines.

I've read mixed reviews from the 17HMR.net forums on these, some people said they had a few feed issues and several haven't had any problems with them. They've yet to be reviewed after extended usage (500+ rounds). Hell even the butler creek hot lips mags for 10/22's have a break in period. If you pick one up and don't like it then let me know, I'll buy it from you for what you paid for it.

I've been eyeballing the 93R17 TR myself...

Those are nice rifles, Academy usually has them in stock too. At least the one in Lewisville does... Only about $20-$30 cheaper than the one I have...

I love my Savage 93 BRJ. Shoots 1 hole groups at 50 yards all day. Does pretty good at 100 too if it's not windy.
