I have friends to "Tact" their AR's up like that, and everytime I pick one up I think... Damn you made this AR as heavy as my M1A.

I prefer AR's with just a red dot on it and thats it. I like them light.

my colt 9mm , quad rail, sling, fore grip. bam..! my other one, flip ups, foregrip, quad rail, fore grip, acog.... All that other stuff is extra weight... Makes them look cool though ha

It's amazing how heavy a lightweight pencil barreled rifle can get when you go hog-wild at Cheaper Than Dirt.

I bet that stupid railed gas block weighs almost a half pound on its own.


Have you considered moving your streamlight to the 9 o'clock position so that you could still put your hand on the ... hand guard?

i'll shoot right hand using vertical grip. im practicing with my weak hand using mag grip,

just don't use rail for hand placement at all.
