You can limp wrist anything, but some guns are more prone to jamming than others.

He must not be very manly, or Teutonic. BTW, pm sent.

The triggers on the Sigmas are so bad that I've yet to see anyone, myself included who could put two rounds into an orange at 7y in a reasonable amount of time.
I can't really argue as I traded up to an xd. Lol.

    Seriously.

Often, cheap and reliable don't go hand in hand. However, the Sigma SW40E is an exception. I fed about 400 rounds of mixed bag FMJ/JHP ammo through it. I had one single FTE. I stopped, cleaned it, and continued without a hiccup. It's a $300 gun and it goes bang all day long and twice on Sunday.

    Ahhh my bad...

I know when I was 16 a long time ago my Grandpa took me to Arlington and told me to pick out a gun. With my budget I grabbed a Browning 9mm high power. I still love that gun even though it's single action and not sexy.

Was, huh? Didn't you buy it a whopping 3 months ago? How many rounds have you put through it? What kind of practical accuracy would you say constitutes "getting the job done"?

If you can buy a glorified piece of shit that is hard to shoot accurately for $300 or a good, usable service weapon for $400, then why on earth would you steer people towards the piece of shit?

Buy a gun that will shoot well, and learn to be proficient with it. Don't buy a gun that will only make proficiency an impossible dream. Trust me, if Sigmas were that good, people wouldn't sell them the day after they shoot a buddy's glock/xd/sig/cz/hk/blah/blah/blah.

I really like my XDM .40 feels great and shoots great just do not buy a cheap POS gun because it will always be a cheap POS gun live and learn IMO. Also do not be afraid to spend money on it because guns are the only hobby that I have ever had that held resale as long as you get a quality gun.
