I liked the s&w m&p better than the xd and glock. I just picked up a Taurus pt111 millennium pro for my wife for 200 and she loves it.

I have a PT140 pro and I love it. Only thing that I dislike are the stupid straight 8 sights, but I got used to them after a while.

Apparently my question subject to too much debate... anyway... I am really liking the XDm .45,Trophy Match 1911 SS or the Loaded 1911 in SS. Also, I like the PX4 .45.

I am leaning toward a 4.5" barrel or similar. I don't really like the subcompacts.

So by your judgement,a hi-point is also a fine firearm. They only cost $125 and go bang all day too.

The triggers on the Sigmas are so bad that I've yet to see anyone, myself included who could put two rounds into an orange at 7y in a reasonable amount of time.

I agree with you that the triggers on the Stigmas are crap------the rest of the gun is ok. Not great but just ok. Its a cheap 9mm thats all. I somehow stuck it in my bag the day I took my CHL and had to qual with it! I was kinda freaking out a little and my bud offered his G-19 for me to use in place of it.
I went ahead and shot the S&W and was amazed at (besides 12 lb trigger pull) at how well it shot. I qualled with a perfect 250.
Its a cheap Glock knock-off. So for the Glock haters---this one will really fry your nuts!

I like all weapons.. but guys i have to X2 with buzzo.. most police officers carry a glock because they are affordable, accurate, and reliable... I have an xd and i like it... ive even seen a really nice hk .45 that buzzo used to own with a light/laser combo.. Dont get me wrong i would I would love to own an HK but bang for the buck.. i pick glock!
wonder how many failures HK's would have if they sold the same amount of weapons as glock?
