It sucks that I have to drive to the lease and wait all day on deer when I have 50 deer in my yard every night but I cannot shoot them as I live in the city and in a subdivision. It sucks they aren't afraid of people either last night I took the trash out to the curb and they didn't even pay any attention. It does make for some nice test and tune with the calls

Ouch! I am not sure ill even be able to get out again before buck season is over but I still have till the end of jan for doe

No he's at the processor right now then a friend is gonna do a euro mount for me, gonna score him after. My guess is he'll be in the 125-130 range.

I was suprised at the darkness as well, he also had bark on him from rubbing very recently.

Hell my throwing lead doesn't always work well either though. As much as it hurts to say this I missed a 160" deer a few weeks ago, apparently I hit a tree or limb between us and clean missed.

Here is a little bit better picture. I don't have a good one of me holding the deer for size perspective since my dad couldn't operate my phone camera worth a shit.
