Well hopefully this cold snap will help some. Kinda late, but at this point we need all the help we can get with the season coming to a close soon. Every processer that I have spoke to and or heard about in Texas is reporting 50% loss from previous years.

Just watched a 10 and a nice young 5 point. That 5 is gonna be a nice one in a few years.

Watched a deer eat for 20 minutes. It was too dark to make out doe or buck and as soon as 1st light, he was gone

I'm headed out at 2 when i get off work, hoping I can make it to the stand by 3-3:30. Saw what looked to be s nice 9 or 10 last sunday night, but he never would give me a good look at one side of him.

I got skunked once again. I also checked all 4 of my cameras, and I still have tons of deer. Problem is that they are all nocturnal now. Fixing to go back out and...hope for a day time straggler. Maybe this cold front will make then a bit more day time active. Its in the low 20's.

My dad got these 2 Sunday morning less than 5minutes apart, he dropped the buck set his rifle down when the pig came running out and stopped about 175yds out.

This is the old man's lease in Bee county near skidmore. 600 acres.

Hopefully next year I'll have a lease of my own closer to Dallas and this one to pillage too
