I'm taking my 3yr old with me this evening. I'm betting it last 15-20 mins tops, lol. Luckily his mom will be at the cabin to get him if it doesn't go well.

Mine lasted all evening from 345 on till dark was fun she is still asking when she gets to go again.

My big 12 has made it to my other camera a mile away. and 2 miles from his home.

Hope he doesnt get shot this year.

I saw a couple doe. 2 medium bucks and a little spike this morning. They went through a small opening into another clearing. So I put up an elevated stand today and will sit in it in the morning

80% chance of rain + new open deer stand = prob going to get wet today

But, no moon + cloudy night + change in biometric pressure should = good morning to hunt

Sitting in my stand listening to it rain now, I would complain but we need all the rain we can get right now.

Temp just dropped and rain is off and on here luckily I have a good insulated rain jacket and hoody so. So far so good I also made a way for my rifle to start dry so I'm staying here for a while

Well, he lasted an hour and half. I did a lot of rattling with him with me and he got a kick out of that, especially the grunting part. Did have a doe come in to see what the comotion was about and I was so busy giggling at Mason cheesing about the grunting that I didnt even see her till she was right on top of us and Mason yells "Theres a deer right there dad!" I couldnt stop laughing after that so we called it an afternoon.
