Another thing worth mentioning is that the political forces involved with a treaty like this don't support it being passed. The big defense firms will raise hell with the senators in the states they operate in, if the Senate starts talking seriously about this. With the wars about wound down, they'll be looking to export as much as they can. If this small-arms bill goes through, some senators will be replaced, for sure. Also, the 5 permanent members of the UN security council are also the 5 largest arms exporters in the world. Why would they support this resolution?ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh
