I had a buddy help me with a dolly and these from Lowes:
They support up to 750 lbs.

Use pvc under the bottom like peewee said.
And if you want to, you can do it. I moved my 500 pound safe by myself. Wasn't easy, but I handled it.Comment

I moved my 700lb safe by sliding it on cardboard across the floor. Actually worked pretty well. I also have 1200lb load rated appliace dolly if you need to borrow it.It happens to be a well thought out and reasoned dissertation on drug use and a lyrical cost/benefit analysis of various kinds of drugs, drawing the conclusion that beer is the best of them all.Comment

my buddy and I moved mine from the bed of my truck, into the house, and set it up. When I began the remodel of my living room, I bought a cheap funiture dolly and another buddy and I set it up on that. It's been on the dolly for several months at least now. I just roll it around when I need to work in the area its in. I leave it loaded and have moved it all over the room with no problems.Comment
