As far as funding, I'm assuming that will come from everyone making 250k and above.
Yeah, fuck the mega-rich making over $250k/year, they can suck it so we sleep better knowing that those evil guns are not being made anymore.

Now how the govt affords it, no clue.

Something is going into effect for sure. Her proposed bill is absurd and amounts to throwing it at the wall and seeing what sticks.

However absurd her proposed bill is, there will be a lot that does stick. She knows that and we know that.

The GOP is in a tough spot right now. Not just regarding guns but in general. They have to be smart about how they fight this lest they lose the house in '14.

The right is going to have to compromise and sacrifice some general principles of conservatism in the interests of preservation.

It's just a bad deal all the way around.

Like always, the right will take the blame even though it's so blatantly clear that the gun grabbers are the ones exploiting dead children.

The Feinstein bill will not pass in it's current form. There are many pro gun Democrats in the Senate that would be willing to negotiate but I think this bill goes way to far and they know it. There will be a lot of amendments before it can come to a vote and the Democrats don't hold a 60 seat super majority to stop a filibuster.

But this thing is DoA in the House. I'm doubtful they would get anything past House Republicans at this point.

But still, I'm writing Congressman Burgess and Senators Cruz and Cornyn to make sure.

Lightning links are NFA items, already protected and 8k.

I will now invent the custom shirt and glove that replaces the slide fire. Seems an easy enough work around

I wrote both senators for TX and got personal and positive (against new bill) replies. I also bought a complete lower today and need some mags ASAP. Then I will order an upper.

I like the whitehouse petition to have him deported. I especially like the petition started by a UK citizen to refuse to take him back. And the best one is the petition to show solidarity for him with a pathetic 3,700 votes.

The NRA is a single issue organization. You could be a pedophile and they would give you an A+ as long as you support the second amendment. On one hand they end up supporting a bunch of shitheads but on the other, at least they are honest in that they have one agenda, gun rights.
