I haven't sent an email to my senator since the whole SOPA thing.

    This is what I wrote:

    Senator Cornyn,

I honestly cannot believe it has come to this point in our nation's history that we are allowing a bill like Feinstein's to be even considered.

Her bill is not like the 1994 AWB, it is a ban of pretty much any modern firearm.

I am a proud gun owner, proud Texan, and a proud American. I have many firearms, and I killed absolutely no one today. I don't plan on killing anyone tomorrow and anytime in the future. Do you know why? Because I am a law abiding citizen. Taking guns away from us (law abiding citizens) will not prevent the tragedy like what occurred in CT.

Please, do not give into this sensationalism. Vote this bill down and crush it forever.

    -B.M.M.

I'm still waiting on the bill that is going to be a ground-breaking, game changing overhaul of our efforts to test our children's mental and psychological faculties.

Oh wait. That's right. Deranged and medicated 10 year olds that avoid early detection and drift further away from society and have no regard for its norms aren't the problem. It's the gun that holds more than 10 rounds.

Sorry about that, I just took my Prozac and forgot to think.

Exactly what I had been worried they would try! NFA registration of assault rifles! Fuck it, if it's going to be NFA registered, I will form all mine as SBR's since the tax stamp is being waived.

wow, they are trying to make it very hard to get and keep a "modern weapon" After the generation that is old enough to buy them now its pretty much over.
