First GB for lowers there was a board member who was paid a very invasive visit from the ATF and not the paper pushing kind. Second GB for lowers MANY of us were contacted by special agents from the ATF. My visit included an unannounced visit to MY HOUSE. Luckily no one was home and they left a card on the door to "Call ASAP". I called from Afghanistan after being informed by my freaked out wife. "Statement/Interview" was easy but still, the comment was made in direct referrence to the board, our forum, our group buy and it's members in general. Then there is HRT4me who is an actual FBI agent, more of an accountant but take his posts about some very nice weaponary and his screen name into consideration. Nothing wrong with having a federal agent on the board but it would have been nice for him to eventually come out and say so. It would be nice for him to post more about topics which he can. But to no avail. he comes and goes and posts obscure stuff then vanishes unless there is a need to try and sell you a Ruger 10/22 25rd magazine that he only wants to ship to you no matter where you are. Then there is his dealings on other forums, and this is hearsay as I have no personal knowledge of him wanting to sell ammo to one of their board members - meeting location address across the Will Rodgers which is the Fort Worth branch of the ATF.

I am pretty sure we are on a radar given some of the posts in the political forum by some of our members there and their affiliations.

There it is all in one post. Call me paranoid or cautious or tinfoil hat wearing. Form your own conclusion. Just search HRT4me's pas posts, everyone is in the Armory and just suspect of troll. Think about the "quests" that never log in but just watch.

I saw the thread at the time but did not pay a ton of attention to it as I had no interest in getting in on that group buy. I meant what I said respectfully and was not trying to call him out as it may have looked. He has mentioned in the past as well of having a not so pleasant dealing with "them" and while I have no idea if it had anything to do with that thread it seems to have been a memorable and not very pleasant expierience. I for one would really like to know what is going on.

If it is even a semi serious thing maybe this sub forum should be setup by the mods only to be viewable by people known not to be "them".

They just cruise boards where folks talk about guns. Intentional obfuscation is a bad idea. Making the sub forum private is a terrible idea.

It has also been openly admitted that branches of three letter departments spend all day surfing the web under fake accounts to glean information. Think of it like the teams of people that track, and arrest the sick fucks on instant message sites. You think she is a 14yr old girl but she is a 30yr old SA. I don't think that there are any "members" here that troll but I am sure there are plenty of "guests".

Posts like this thread do not paint us in a very bright light, thus planting us further onto someone's radar. If it were up to me the OP would delete but I do not think it would be right to ask a Mod to do it. Free speech and all.
