    It's a lot of fun. Once I get the academy paid for and finish a couple of these gun projects, I may look into shooting a few matches. Check out Youtube if you haven't already, there's plenty of matches to watch.

              Cross Timbers would be a good place to start. The website has a bunch of newcomer info and they are very welcoming and helpful to first timers. Email them using the link at the website. Someone will reply shortly.

                    Cross Timbers has a big box of holsters and mag carriers. You can borrow gear from the box if you happen to leave yours at home or you're a first timer and didn't show up with gear. Although the box has a fairly large collection (and is growing), there's no guarantee they'll have the right holster for the right gun.

                      They are all pretty far. Seemed like fw was the closest and screw dealing with that traffic/construction. I think I might try red river first
