I have one but it's a crummy one and I've had it slip before. I'd feel bad if it was tightening, slipped and marred some part of your receiver. You're welcome to use it, at your own risk.... I'm sure someone here with a nice one will speak up soon. If not let me know.Originally posted by dsrtuckteezy View Postawesome man. i read a positive review for the PA microdot on the blog you write for, so i figure it's a decent piece for the money. thanks for the insight.
would you happen to be one of those guys??

LOL just give it a little time you'll have a 37lb AR like mine,Originally posted by dsrtuckteezy View Postsimple compared to soap's shit! if i can find a decent priced optic that works with the front sight i might do that.
do you just remove the red dot when you want to use irons, or does yours flip to the side?

i think i'm with you on that train of thought. now i just need to decide if i want flip up sights or fixed.Originally posted by mustang_revival View PostWhen I was doing co-witness, I preferred the iron site below. It helped me with target aquisition, then "fine" tune with the dot. Then if you ever remove the optic your muscle memory is already used to this method.
larue tactical makes a good arguement on ar15.com that in a situation where you need your irons asap, you dont want to spend time flipping them up.
but, i would like to use the red dot by itself sometimes with no irons in the picture at all, so i'm leaning towards flip up.

Looking good dude, but you may want to bring your rear flip up sight as far back as you can. The longer the sight radius, the better.Originally posted by lincolnboyAfter watching Games of Thrones, makes me glad i was not born in those years.

That looks about as far back as it can go. Any further and when its laid down it will probably be overlapping the CHOriginally posted by DOHCTR View PostLooking good dude, but you may want to bring your rear flip up sight as far back as you can. The longer the sight radius, the better.
