I also have heard June 1st is the changeover. As far as eforms, you're in the "system" the moment it submits, so plenty of time. You do not want to do a paper form, I just got one back, nearly 12 month turn around.

Yea I just put in an order for a Saker762 from silencershop due to the changes coming.

The e-file site is down and there is no date that it will back back up or any info that it will be in time to submit anything before the change date. Anyone who is submitting ANYTHING right now has to do it the old fashion way.

Yup. It was only ever meant to be a notification. They shouldn't be able to hold it up just because they think guns are icky.

Trusts have a lot more advantages than just avoiding the signoff. Other people can legally use your NFA items, they can't be seized by certain legal methods, etc.

Yes. The CLEO has to have jurisdiction over you.

Nope, just what I have been told by many credible sources including a suppressor manufacturer.

Your sources are pretty credible so I will take your word for it. Any idea they are going to prevent people from getting nfa items of the cleo or sheriff refuse to approve it? I know other posts suggest that it will go through if you have it in writing, but things are not exactly changing for the better it seems.

If that was the case then what's your answer for the millions of residents who don't reside in the confines of city limits?
