Who makes those?

I remember researching them in the past. I think they are some sort of Chinese manufacturer. I seem to remember they don't take all of the same furniture, they don't hve a standard AK rear trunion/tang. They are cheaper for a reason, can't use anything but lead shot in the barrels. Also I have read more than one report of them breaking the rear trunion due to insufficient mainsprings.

I think the ban has more to do with saying FU to russia, then it has to do with the actual firearm.

I thought it would be cool to own a Saiga, but I love my 930SPX so much I never bought one.

It is a 3 gun beast, and lets me stay in the limited class.

Damn! One of the main guns on my "want" list has been a Saiga for a while now. If anyone finds a decent deal on one, let me know!
